With this interest in mind, he began cutting his friends and family in 2010 at his home. After a couple years, he decided to enroll in Robert Fiance where he would obtain his barber license in 2015. While in school, Clay interned at MichaelJays Barbering Company from 2014-2016. Clay decided to join our team in June 2016 and has continued to advance his skills and master his craft. He is inspired by modern styles and his goal is to become an educator at Bello By Daniel Ross. When Clay isn’t working he volunteers his time coaching kids basketball, working out and of course listening to his favorite artist Drake.
Carlos Alvez – Full Time Barber/Stylist
Carlos is one of our full time barbers at Bello by Daniel Ross. He started cutting hair in 2011 when he decided to give himself a haircut. Carlos decided to further his skills by taking the MichaelJay’s Barbering Program where he worked directly with Daniel and the MichaelJays’ team. During the program, it became clear Carlos had natural talent and abilities in the field of barbering and was offered a position with Bello by Daniel Ross. Carlos entered Bello’s internship program where he advanced his training and became a full-time barber in September of 2016. Marco’s goal is to graduate college and hair school, continue to work at Bello by Daniel Ross and one-day open his own barbershop among other businesses. He is inspired by the 1950-60’s classic Greaser look with a modern day twist. When he isn’t cutting hair, Marco loves to work on cars, quads, motorcycles and anything that goes fast.
